To my Sunrise Photo Album, I’ve added a series of six photos, which were blended to produce an HDR composite. I personally see little difference between using graduated ND filters, matte boxes, gelatin filters in front of the camera lens, etc., and new hi-tech post-processing techniques. I try to use the method which best preserves the original image, yet produces the image I remember when I composed the photo. In many instances this requires a combination of both old and new techniques.
